Workshops on Market Strategies and Product Design for Pine Needles and Bamboo-Based Craft
The two workshops on market strategies and product design for pine needles and bamboo -based craft organised by the ‘Sustainable Management of Forest Ecosystem Services’ (FES) project brought together local artisans and community members from Himachal Pradesh. These events were discerning for women engaged in pine needle and bamboo-based crafts, offering insights into market dynamics, product enhancement, and establishing producer groups. Participants gained a deeper understanding of market opportunities and strategies for sustainable utilisation of forest resources.
