Webinar Series: Carbon Credits in the Agricultural Sector

The Webinar series goes on! Due to the great response to the last sessions of the Webinar Series, the WG Agriculture decided to keep the exchange up and is now focusing on GIZ internal expertise and contributing to GIZ-wide discussion of the topic. Following the momentum of past sessions, the 2024 series will delve into new and dynamic topics such as “Guidance for GIZā€™s Engagement on Carbon Markets,” “Mobilising Climate Finance through Carbon Removal,” “Lessons Learned from Kenya in Setting up Carbon Projects in Agriculture”, “Potential Carbon Credit Projects with the Private Sector via INS” and “Carbon Vouchers – A Holistic Carbon Cycle Trading System for the Future.”

These webinars aim to equip GIZ staff with the latest insights and practical approaches to carbon credit projects, emphasizing their role in sustainable agriculture and climate action. This series is designed to be a critical platform for knowledge sharing and capacity building in the evolving field of carbon markets within GIZ.
