New E-Learning Course on Nature-based Solution
In the frame of a wider GIZ initiative across several countries, the Sector Network Natural Resources and Rural Development Asia and the Pacific (SNRD AP), together with the Sector Programme Conservation of Biodiversity on Land, developed the self-paced e-learning course “Nature-based solutions: from planning to successful governance and implementation.” The content is based on several training sessions and workshops conducted for different target groups and cultural contexts in recent years.
In the course, participants will learn about key aspects of planning, implementation, governance, and monitoring of NbS actions. It includes six main modules and tangible examples of NbS implementation. After completion, participants will earn a certificate for completing the course.
To apply for the training, please register as “Learners” on the learning platform Atingi atingi.org and then access the course here. No fees are required.
A Vietnamese version of the e-learning course is currently being developed in the frame of the Project Upscaling of Sustainable Forest Management and Certification in Viet Nam. The Vietnamese edition is not only translated but also localised and expected to be published by the third quarter of 2023. Are you also interested in localising the course to your country or region?
