As working product of the task force ‘Innovations in gender transformation for rural development in Asia’ hosted by SNRD Asia and Pacific, the new Tool kit on ‘Learning Together: Gender Transformative Approaches (GTA) in Rural Development’ has been launched in a virtual meeting on February 23. Above 60 colleagues from Asian countries and others joined the event. The event’s main purpose was to inform GIZ colleagues about the published tool kit that includes practical and concrete tools and approaches from various GIZ projects in Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Nepal and other countries for their own projects (especially GG1 projects) to learn from and use to enhance the gender and intersectionality focus in their project initiatives. Thus, this event was used to share the compiled action and integration recommendations of GTA in rural development projects.
