Up to 15,000 € up for grabs under the new 2017 Working Group Allowance!

If you are member of the Sector Networks SNRD Asia or TUEWAS, and cooking up an innovative idea to help your Working Group (WG) or Task Force (TF) multiply knowledge, or disseminate practices and experiences, here is the opportunity to get your idea off the ground!

WG/TFs of the two SNs are invited to participate in this challenge by submitting concepts that promote technical and professional exchange across the themes of natural resources, rural development, transport, environment, energy and water in Asia.

Background
The 2017 WG Allowance is an internal grant for members of GIZ Sector Networks SNRD Asia (Natural Resources and Rural Development Asia) and TUEWAS (Transport, Environment, Energy and Water in Asia). It provides funding support for initiatives that promote knowledge sharing across the themes of natural resources, rural development, transport, environment, energy and water in Asia.

♦SDG Indicator Mapping
Set up by the Joint Task Force Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of both SNRD Asia and TUEWAS, the SDG Indicator Mapping gives an overview of how the 17 SDGs and 149 indicators are currently being integrated into the project/programme interventions. By doing so, the mapping strives to explore ways forward in how to step up GIZ’s policy integration efforts in Asia. ♦HCD for Biodiversity: The basics of biodiversity conservation for human well-being” Training Course
Organised by SNRD Asia’s Biodiversity WG, the training course “HCD for Biodiversity: The basics of biodiversity conservation for human well-being” provides insight into current challenges as well as opportunities and related tools in technical and policy advisory services in biodiversity conservation and management in the context of international cooperation. ♦TUEWAS EE WG Collaboration Matrix
Initiated by TUEWAS’ Energy Efficiency WG, the matrix incorporates information about the activities and available know-how within all its member projects while also supports topic identification for mutual collaboration and technical exchange.
