The German-Sino Agricultural Center (DCZ) is a joint initiative of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) of the People’s Republic of China. It was founded in March 2015 to provide a central point of contact, information and coordination for bilateral cooperation in the areas of agriculture and food between Germany and China. Its main objective is to achieve a mutually beneficial agricultural exchange by promoting dialogue and strengthening the agricultural cooperation between the two countries. It brings together policy-makers, agricultural practitioners, representatives from industry and science to facilitate knowledge exchange and networking on a wide range of topics, covering for example technological modernization, rural structural change, environmental friendly production and sustainable intensification.
