This training aims at building competencies for promoting climate change adaptation concepts and good practices in green sectors. It integrates both the climate proofing logic and specific aspects of adapting green sectors to climate change. Based on an overview of climate change perspectives in the region, the participants analyze impacts and climate-smart adaptation options for three practical case studies in humid and semi-humid, mountainous and coastal areas of the Asian region. Experiences of participants and trainers are integrated during the working groups. The course is especially beneficial if climate proofing plays an important role in your project and work objectives.

Who should attend?

CircleUp to 20 (inter)national development practitioners from public and private organizations or training institutions, involved in planning, implementation and/or outreach in natural resource management and green sectors are invited to participate in this first intensive training in Bangkok.

The training language is in English, good communication skills (understanding and speaking) are a prerequisite.
